HalalScan is an AI-powered application designed to analyze food products, barcodes, and ingredient lists to provide halal verification guidance based on Islamic rulings.

The Service is for informational purposes only. While we strive for high accuracy using verified databases and AI, it does not constitute a formal religious fatwa or medical advice. Users are encouraged to verify critical information independently.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
HalalScan may offer "Premium" subscription plans that unlock advanced features such as unlimited AI Chat, advanced batch scanning, and multi-madhab support.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your device's App Store settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass others or post harmful content.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code or AI models.
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalalScan and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI-generated analysis.
