Data Deletion

At HalalScan, you have the right to request the deletion of all your personal data stored on our servers. We value your privacy and make this process simple.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account and data is directly through the HalalScan mobile application:

  1. Open the HalalScan app.
  2. Navigate to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap on Settings (gear icon).
  4. Scroll down to the "Account Actions" section.
  5. Tap Delete Account.
  6. Confirm your choice. Your data will be immediately scheduled for deletion.

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you may request data deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to support@halalscan.app.
  2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
  3. Please send the email from the same address associated with your HalalScan account so we can verify ownership.
  4. We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email.

What Data is Deleted?

  • All uploaded photos and generated analysis data.
  • Your account profile, email, and preferences.
  • Your scan history and logs.

Note: If you have an active subscription managed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must manage your subscriptions through your device settings.
